I don't think that anyone can truly understand the possibilities of this card. I recently played a game against a friend of mine, and he was running an elf deck that he continued to gain about 20 life a turn. However, he had no real offense to hurt me yet, so I kept playing huge creatures and blanchwood armors until eventually I had a 25/25 plated slagwurm on the field, then I played this card. At this point, he was at 220 life. I attacked with everything that I had which included my 50/50 trampling slagwurm. I brought him down to 10 life, then killed him next turn.
