I think this card should be reprinted to go with the valakut deck i love this card in short it should matter to the players and what they want.players are the keys to this game they should be the ones who decide about the cards.

So amazing in EDh and on top of that it is a must in land fall with lotus cobra, omnath and avenger of zendikar. On top of that it is a 6/6 beat stick for 6 and is just awesome. Can anyone say HELLO URZATRON!!!

I want one of these so very much. Oh well maybe ill get one in a booster. He would go really good in a white green land fall deck as when he attacks you just search for a sejiri steppe giving him protection from what ever color you opponents creatures are making him essentially unblockable.

Pulled this out of an intro deck this weekend. Great card. Great for landfall deck. Use with Ob Nixilis, The Fallen to put the hurt on fast.

Can't believe that somebody gave this card 3 stars...? I use this in a green/black deck, after he enters play and then has the opportunity to attack (even if only once), I'm already at a huge advantage. Getting a balanced mana base with this guy is a breeze. I only have one in my deck, but I'm fortunate to have several ways of getting him into play. One Natural Order, two Fauna Shamans, three Diabolic Tutors.. Certainly it would be nice to have another Primeval Titan in my deck, but even one has proved to be a major player in my deck, even without any landfall creatures.

This card is great for the Valakut style of titan ramp. He fetches your valakuts or mountains, and works great with khalni heart expedition

Ramp, Landfall, Deck Thin = Awesome.

There really isn't a downside to this card. Pulled it in my first 2011 pack (in the Blue White deck of all things).

Although a Green deck would not necessarily need this card for the extra ramp, but Landfall decks and Valakut decks especially will benefit from this card. Not only when he comes into play, he can search for any 2 Land, but he can pull out 2 Mountains, and assuming you have 4 Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle in play, deal 24 direct damage to your opponent, resulting in an OTK. Or, in better terms, search for 2 Lands, and have Avenger of Zendikar pump up his little plant buddies. Very good and very powerful cards for a Valakut deck. 5 Stars.

When i first saw this card, i thought it was ridiculous, but not as good as some of the other titans. now, after having time to think about it, i realize that the only titan that might equal it is Grave titan. its second ability is better than it looks at first glance -- it not only exels your mana, but thins your deck, and the thing that makes it as good (if not better than) Grave titan is that the lands it puts into play do NOT have to be basic... you could search up cloudposts for even farther mana generation, or vesuvas to repeat your already awesome lands in play. i know i will never be able to lay my hands on one of these, but i dearly wish i could.

Pulled one in a box. I've had the lucky ability to play him in EDH (Elder Dragon Highlander) where he is absolutely amazing. Its my new favorite target for rite or replication and fierce empath. As for standard, I'm not entirely sure how format warping he will be. Standard has some amazing enter play triggers on some lands, which should help primeval titan. I think that his resolution will generally result in victory. The only issue is that the same pretty much applies to grave titan. But I think primeval will win because green has the ability to cast primeval titan on turn 3, then bring out an army of manlands... or whatever lands you want. Primeval titan is an amazingly fun casual card. So even in 4 years when he is out of extended, you will be enjoying how this guy plays.

Hello mono-green. You can get this guy out easily and once you do, thin out the deck to finish the game. Yes, by far the best Titan in M11. Even in a multi-color deck would be awesome, seeing as the land you fetch can be ANY land.

lol so my friend and i bought a booster box on release night. went back to the tattoo shop he owns and started opening packs one for one....so i got 1 primeval titan 2 grave titans and a frost titan as some of my rares....he got no titans. now he hates me when i use them to kick his butt. point being i put all three in a black green beatdown deck and it works well. i added a Conspiracy or two to make everything everything elves

An absolutely amazing card, truly. Unfortunately, it is cards like this that keep more people from being able to play MTG competitively. How many people do you know that can afford to go out and drop this kind of money on a set of 4 cards? I don't know any. Who is the last person you saw go out and drop more than a few zero's on a set of Tarmogoyfs? Nobody I know. There are getting to be so many cards that are so far out of the average player's price range that it is getting a bit ridiculous. Hopefully I will pull one or two in boosters...

Got one in a booster, played it, was not at all impressed, traded it in for more boosters. Happy with my decision.
