Shimian Specter

this cards major cmpetition is hypnotic spectre. we can all agree that they both have pros and cons vs each other and like different ones. but y not have both? this would make and extrememly powerful discard deck throw it in with a couple of avatar of woes for all the creature spells your opponent will discard not to meniton youll have a fighitng force

This card is very slightly more expensive than Hypnotic Specter, but has a better effect. You get to select the card you want your opponent to get rid of, and he removes it and all instances of it from his deck, hand and graveyard from the game. It's a great way to remove extremely powerful cards your opponent has before he/she gets to play it...namely Akroma, everyone's favorite Angelic Juggernaut. :P

Better then Hippie!!!! This Card is one of the best cards I have seen in a very long time.

Great card. But with speed of play in mind, I would have Hypnotic Specs in my deck everytime over this card. 4 stars

This card is good, but it also comes in the new Future Sight theme deck "Suspended Sentence". So I'd say $8 is a little bit overkill for a card that can be purchased in a theme deck along with a couple of other medicore cards (that make up for the $10 or so cost of the theme deck while its new).

not really better than a hypnotic. it's 4 to cast. hyppies are 3cc. nonetheless, it will be a good addition to a discard deck.

very excited about this card. i don't agree it's better than hypnotic. Hypnotic still costs less. But Shimian is a damn good specter. one of the best. too balanced with his casting cost, but his ability is one of the best specter abilites ever.
