I would rate this card 5 stars as a card in general. It is so fun to pull out on your friends. One of my friends tried countering it but couldn't. Then after him surviving two of its attacks he scooped with only one land left. Great card for fun and for tournaments unless they decide it isn't legal anymore.

Easiest way to get him out and protect yourself untill you can cast him is in a sliver deck.

Show and Tell, Polymorph, and Proteus Staff all come to mind when I think of using this Monster! I would love to Natural Order for it but it's not green :( But can work out very will with Chord of Calling in a token generator deck or Elves, just convoke his cost and search library n' put 'em into play!

15/15 is really big but unless you actually pay mana and cast it. You don't get an extra turn and can be countered if you are using other spells to bring it in.

Thing about Mr. Cool (as some people call him) is that he is actually easily dealt with for white/splash white decks.

Journey to nowhere
Oblivion ring
Day of judgement
Jace, 2.0
Marshall coup
Roil elemental

White blue dont have a problems with it
Red deck wins should have you dead before it hits the field

Ive only seen him casted by spawns before for hard cast which Red deck wins can easily earthquake for 1 or pyroclasm.
If hes not hardcasted (such as the use of polymorph) RDW can just zap the thing you are targeting.

As for green match ups, the G wildspeaker + overrun + critters usually cleans up before he hits as well.

However, with a deck constructed around protecting your life and boosting your land/spawn count. He is acutally a force to reckon with in FNM. "Not of this world" works wonders for stopping O rings and the like while eye of ugin recovers for a Day of judgement. (Ulamog is also a fix to this problem but then there are other things to worry about such as path to exile and what not)

Hopefully scars of mirr. will bring some good news for decks working with this tyrant.

The biggest creature ever created for MtG. What can you say beyond that? If hard casting he is, of course, going to take a lot of resources to make hit the table. Of course the RoE set contains a number of ways to make that happen fairly quickly. Once he does hit the battlefield it's pretty much game over for the other guy. Emrakul can't be countered, can't be targeted by colored spells, has Annihilator 6 (six for Pete's sake!) and if he enters the graveyard from anywhere you re-shuffle your graveyard into your deck (an ability he shares with Kozilek and Ulamog.)

He's not really a viable card in the current meta for high-level tournament play, but I would certainly consider him for sideboard if facing a mill deck. I know there are a ton of folks out there working to try and make Emrakul et al tournament worthy. I can't wait to see what sort of tricks come out to make that happen.

Try putting this in a Jhoira of the Ghitu deck. Once resolved, it can be a tough customer.

Yeah he is cool and all that, but I think too overpowered. You don't have to agree with me, but I think it is. To the person talking about tricks and stuff with it. I have a deck that never gets to benefit from its' extra turns or anything like that. I use little combat tricks like: Sneak Attack, Impromptu Raid and Aetherplasm. I have 3 of it, 3 Ulamog, and 3 Kozilek in that deck. Also 3 progenitus. There is support for it, but that is basically it, just a deck to annoy the mess out of people...good times.
