I love the entire ravnica block but the selesnya deck is by far the best. I bought this deck and, even unmodified I won nearly every game. Later added saproling symbiosis, doubling season and a couple other cards for nearly infinite saprolings. Amazing potential..

one of the best starter decks out there. an must add card though is the enchantment "Privililged Position". it prevents your permanents from being the target of spells or abilities of your opponent. but easily one of the best pre constructed decks out there. the Boros is also decent but this one wins hands down. i also made a very effective deck or all unblockable creatures and alot of power ups like giant growth and mosterous growth.. try it, its very fun to play with

This deck is great unopened, however if you are interested in harnessing the full potential, I strongly suggest you modify it. Basically I changed the theme of the deck to ENTIRELY saprolings. The only creatures I had were saproling tokens and Scion of the Wild. Some other GODLY cards that create an unstoppable combination with the saprolings is doubling season and glare of subdual. Use the glare to lock down an opponents creatures and or artifacts and attack with sheer numbers. Another terrific card to 'buff' up ur tokens is echoing courage. Although this deck is pretty good by itself, it can be literally 10x better with the cards I suggested.

This deck is good, especially if you add Doubling Season, Glare of Subdual, and Chord of Calling, and some other cards that help multiple creatures you control.

The Selesnya theme deck, in my opinion, is one of the best theme decks since Waking Nightmares from the Torment block. I edited my Selesnya deck with a few well needed cards (Coat of Arms X4)(Jinku Bell X2) (Pollenbright Wings X4)(Doubling Season X4)(more Watchwolves X3)(more Scion of the wild after i added that and a few more mana, and take a few of the useless cards out and u got urself a kick butt deck.!
btw i named my Selesnya deck "Outspoken Token"

This deck is the best one out of the ravnica set. I've won thirty-seven games out of thirty-nine using this deck without modifing it.

talk about cheap... i played this through till i ran out of cards (the other deck already had)
i ended it with 26 creatures, about 72 life, and a 26/108 trample scion of the wild, thanks to conclaves blessing
i fear to modify this deck. its too good as it is

Now, I'm a total n00b and I don't really believe in preconstruct decks of any kind (because, stereotypically they are n00bish), however I was amazed at the sheer force behind this deck. There are a few mod's I'd consider doing to it.. but honestly, for the sake of a preconstructed deck this is the best out of the four (in ym opinion.) Totally awesome.

I rated it four because although you get some great cards (Dryads Caress, Overwhelm, Watchwolf, Tolsimer Wolfblood) a few more could be added to improve it. For instance, take out the caregivers and replace them with Llanowar elves and if you feel up to it, scrap the Nullmage and Dowsing Shaman and replace with more Watchwolves and Emperor Crocodile. I also really like Fists of Ironwood - basically pay 2, get two 1/1 creatures and trample...
So don't get me wrong, it is my favourite deck when modified.

Good deck but without adding cards its really not that good. it has no flying and it only wins some games because of swarming around oppents creaters. against any decent flying deck it has no chance.

this is a good precon, but there are several modifications that can be made to make this outstanding.
First, ditch the overwhelm, conclaves blessing, and the dryads caress. fill in with 3 more watchwolf
next get rid of vitu ghazi and put in another sactuary
on second thought, get rid of 2 plains and three forests and put in another sanctuary, and 4 copies of temple garden
ditch the phalanx and the sandsower and put in 3 more scion and one more seige wurm
get rid of the caregivers, skysweepers, and the nullmage sheperds to put in 3 more selesnya guildmage and two autocthon wurms
have fun

i could call this "The wave of Saprolings" by adding Glorius Anthem from 9th edition and more scatter the seeds, you'll get about 30 atleast 2/2 saproling and with the scion of the wild..... or TWO shu! i first played this deck and i noticed the idea:"Just smash ur opponent" like in borob, but this ain't as good as that. so.. thi really doesn't impress anyone i think go for golgari or dimir if u want to be "Immortal"
