Really good deck straight from the box. The only thing missing is paradox haze. With it in play, you produce twice as many saprolings! And with Sporesower Thallid, you can put two spore counters on every fungus you control, and put two other spore counters on the fungus that have the ability of accumulating spore counters. After a few turns, this deck becomes unstoppable. (of course, paradox haze is blue, but terramorphic expanse should help)

Straight out of the box the deck takes a little getting used to. Depending on how the first two turns work out you can embark on an overall strategy that crushes every other deck in six or seven turns with the exception of the Sliver Deck. And even there, should one employ the time honoured maxim that the best way to kill a snake is to cut off it's head and keep the opponents sliver count to between zero and two you can win most games. And if the slivers get ahead of you, pray for the Shell Thalids and pump them up. Eventually you will have a bullwark of defense even the Sliver deck will have a hard time circumventing while you still deal mercilless, mindless, and unceasing damage to your opponent. Spirit Loop is your bane! Fallen Idol your salvation! Heed these words and all the world will tremble at the healthy servings of Salad, er, Thallid you will deliver each play!

Ever try fusing with a sliver deck? get small slivers out, then put out the thallids to start getting saps. Here is the good part use a hivestone, turns all your creatures into slivers in addittion to the original type. Saps with sliver abilities(doubling season for extra fun ^.-). Drawback is how fast it is(use gemhide for maximum results). By the way if you want the best this combo has to offer use to Hivestone and throw in 2 homing slivers(future sight) and a Sliver Legion{Coat of Arms effect}. Note:Legions also comes from Future Sight.

This deck is great. If you can get a few thallids out by around turn 5 you will win 99% of the time. The saproling wave is unstoppable.

This Deck is the imperial speed deck. Not only does it provide strong creatures while speedingly creating 1/1 saprolings, but it also gives you the edge by using black destruction cards. Although old, cards like echoing courage will help your saprolings enourmously, you should add at least 2 into this deck.

Just looking at the decklist, it is obvious that the deck has nice potential. The cards all have great flavor, and there are plenty of themes just waiting to be exploited. I would suggest buying one. Two if you are serious about having a good Fungus deck.
Slivers are cool, but seriously, people. They are Slivers. That explains enough. The deck doesn't have to be well-made as long as it has a bunch of them in it. The Fungus deck must be fine-tuned and perfected. I'd say Fun with Fungus is the deck most worthy, while the Sliver deck is still better. But if you plan on using Slivers in tournaments... DON'T. The regulars will wipe the floor with you faster than you can say Plague Sliver.

Wow, all I can say about this deck is a little mixing and matching and it will dominate. With Coat Of Arms and Sporoloth Ancient, this deck is hard to beat. Add that 0/1 Flying fungus that I forget the name of and Woah..

I don't actually own this deck, but my friend has it and... wow. Each he plays with it I'm always so impressed. Those tokens just don't stop coming it's crazy! It's only weakness is the flyings and speed. I have to try my slivers against it!

This is a great beginning to a very good deck. Add some more spells to help protect against flying and it rocks.

Im usually hard on deck reviews, this one earns it's 4. Straight from the box it is slow but gains it's momentum and can dominate. With a Savra or two and Doubling season this deck becomes the best B/G deck i've played since i started magic. Look to Golgari and Selesnya from the Ravnica block for some good additions for a Standard deck.

The deck its self is not that impresseve but it is the second best deck to build on.this deck is only topped by the sliver deck. ery good if you put some work in to it.

This deck is good for parts, especially the Pendelhaven, which makes a great early game combo with Darksteel Garrison. this deck will be the seed of many others.

A little on the slow side, But still quite versatile to say the least. I give this deck a 3 out of 5.
