ive had people forfiet games after i played this thing, and i back it up with a Batwing brume with a bunch of plains and a couple of swamps, for those pesky elf decks.

Story Circle, choose white, play Eight-and-a-Half-Tails. As long as you have the mana, you can even shut down a five color deck this way.

I LOVE this card.I love the look in the other person eyes when his masterfull plan is prevented by a simple card.

Best thing for a good white deck.

This card is awesome. Against a one-color deck, you can just go for a little damage each turn and leave your mana open to prevent any damage that would be dealt to you. Against a 3 or 4 color deck, though, it's not really useful.

Very situational in standard. With the Ravnica lands and painlands from tenth edition, there will be multicolored decks around, and that means this won't be a 100% failsafe for you. Although useful, it isn't a lifesaver you can completely rely on.

Once standard rotates, we will see how its importance changes.

I don't see how this card could possibly suck....it hoses creature/burn based decks. great in conjunction with wrath of god/akroma's vengeance. your enemies will start pulling all their resources on the board to try to overwhelm you with that card, so killing everything on the board works so well with it.
