I have been playing with these in green decks for years, one of the best green creatures ever printed. On your opponents turn, cast it, then rancor it on your turn, now you have a 3/3 trample haste forestwalker first turn, OUCH!!!.....of course, 1 diabolic edict or lightning bolt can ruin your fun too...

this card combos well with 'bounty of the hunt' although i'm sure that's not news to oldtimers out there. for new funfuns play with 'panglacial wurm' from the "coldsnap" set. just an idea...........
