I disagree with the above comment. This card rocks if you have the advantage and want to stay in control of the match. First of all, it puts a clock on your opponent. Second, your opponent isn't likely to remove it, since it would only put them closer to death. Cards that keep players (your opponents) from gaining life are a great way of ensuring victory. Who cares if you have to pay life if you're going to win anyway? (read: black players use life as a means to win - this is why the main part of black cards make you pay life in return for strong effects)

This card sucks very badly unless you can play Transcendence, and Sterling Grove along with it. Then if you play Phyrexian Processor and pay 8,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 life, you can have a creature so big it is beyond measure. On the turn after that play Mirror Universe And eliminate your opponent.
