This card combined with Melira is ridiculous. As long as Melira is out this thing doesnt take damage. Its awesome.

At first I hated this hydra, and this is coming from a green player. What changed my mind was given the mana cost, and the great artifacts in the set like Bladed Pinions to give him not just flying but first strike, suddenly it turns into a great hydra.
