In the right deck, this is quite possibly the best blue beater ever printed - 4 mana for a 6/6 flyer? 2 mana for an +8/+8 flyer? and no drawback?

This card is also a ton of fun in a Myr Incubator deck!

artifacts rule, with any time, a card kills, Brood star gets out there pretty quick, alot of artifacts isnt that hard, a few of em and a lil mana u got a killer combo.

A very powerful card in an artifact based deck. With affinity for artifacts it's easy to summon and even gains power to boot.

what can i say? this is probably one of the best cards in the game. affinity, and +x/+x? kickin' ass. play it in a myr and artifact-heavy deck and go to town.

Would rate it higher if I could. This is one of my favorite blue cards of all time. Slap that monkey on soul foundry in an artifact deck and use cloudpost to cover the mana cost. Question though, does the affinty work with soul foundry or do you pay the full cost?

Huh? "pity no other activated abilities"????? Are you seroius? It gets cheaper to cast as it grows into a monster! One of the reasons why they banned artifact lands.

this is the ultimate finisher for an affinity deck. unbeatable if equipped with lightning greaves.

Nice card cheaper and cheaper as it gets bigger and bigger though unfortunatly soul foundry costs would be way too much though a followed footsteps wouldnt be too bad mmmm though it may be banned a soul foundry with a deciple of the vault is a mean trick muahahaha

This card can be found in the bait and bludgeon mirrodin preconstructed deck. If anyone has any idea of the power of this card in heavy artifact decks, i suggest you buy a couple of these decks, which also include cards like thirst for knowledge. it also contains lodestone myr, another very powerful card that gets big. instead of wasting money buying this card and other singles for an artifact/ affin t2 deck, just buy the preconstructed deck.
