If compared with for instance "Terror" or "Arrest" which both are doing just about the same thing, it should be obvious that "Contaminated Bond" does not fit in. Even as the opponent might be less likely to use the creature, he or she are still able to do so if it leads to victory or prevents you from winning. One shoud try not to let the opponent make too many choises, for he who has the freedom to chose what to happen are likely to find a way to win the game. The only way this card could be truely useful would be in combination with cards that forces your opponent to attack or block, otherwise don�t use it at all if you wish to be number one.
