How about this, the plate, a spellbook, darksteel colossus, and a rush of knowledge? If ya tinker the ds colossus you got yourself one shasty mcnasty early on.

I use this in my boros its amazing

+7/+7? fooie, throw down a Spellbook for zero mana, then slap a Freed from the Real on Arcanis the Omnipotent. Load your hand up with twenty cards... +20/+20, now that's much much better!

100%! A card that can give a creature +7/+7 is brilliant, with some great blue combos, my best being Graceful Adept and Myojin Of Seeing Winds.

Great for raiseing the power of weaker cards, it is near impossible to counter.

This card has become good in EDH with the printing of reliquary tower and recurring insight. It functions best when its on a creature with either a form of evasion or trample, but even without it, I've seen a willbender with a power over 10 early on.

This is one of the best equipment cards i have seen this also boosted my deck a lot
