Can become very devestating when combined with Aura Shards and Liquimetal Coating, destroy a permanent of your choice each turn while also getting w/e creature you happened to imprint to it. Qasali Pridemage, Steppe Lynx, Wall of Reverernce, or Master of the Wild Hunt have been my most common Imprints. Though Lieutenant Kirtar has been quiet fun in the past; block 1 creature and pay 1W+sacrifice him to exile another, stops 2 creatures from dealing dmg. The new M10 rules have made *block-saccing* incredibly powerful

And refering to people who suggested things like affinity and avatar of woe... WHY? Pay an exorbitant price to put a token copy into play, eh... Because the cost lowering affects don't correlate when activating this ability since it only looks at the creature's original CMC. All colorless in quite nice though.

Superb in an ally deck, my favorite combo being with Halimar Excavator. Deck someone real fast. Ondu cleric also gets the well wisher effect, but with instant gratification.

Definitely a good card to say the least, but really isn't good (in most cases) for high mana creatures especially myr enforcer. Affinity for anything including artifacts only decreases the cost to cast it, IT DOESN'T LOWER ITS CONVERTED MANA COST, just remember cards like reaper king you technically can summon it for one of each mana but it's converted mana cost is still 10. It's more along the lines of the card clone, instead of paying the card's converted mana you're paying one blue and 3 colorless to create a copy. The x you pay is an activated ability not a summoning cost. So for myr enforcer you'd be paying 7 mana just to get a 4/4 out. This really is the case because otherwise this would become a retarded combo with mycosynth golem as you could get a darksteel collosus 11/11 indestructible with trample each turn which would just be stupid.

Even for platinum angel, you really only need one anywar. i'd rather just choose a master of etherium, +1/+1 buff on all your artifacts, and grows more powerful each turn for only 3 mana.

The possibilities truly are endless as long as WotC keeps releasing new cards. Though a definite downside of it is that it doesn't work on legendary cards because that would destroy them past the first one, though i guess it still would be nice to just summon it back if it's killed. The best cards to use in my opinion is creatures that buff other creatures up the best one being most likely the elvish archdruid as it costs only 3 and gives you a buff and mana production off the charts. And also really good to use in any deck with a coat of arms.

One last note is that meddling mage would really be a pain if you knew an opponents deck or even if you didn't, just name all the cards in their graveyard and ones on the field. which would only cost 2 mana. this card could possibly be pretty good in an ally deck too.

pretty crazy...combine with cards that have tricky mana costs (groundbreaker and doubling season, or maelstrom angel) .

Myr Enforcer + Clock of Omens = 1 4/4 Myr for each artifact you have in play. Every turn. It's like a giant Myr snowball ^_^

Then all you need is a Coat of Arms and hilarity ensues.

Those ideas with soul foundry are nice, but using the artifact with Imerious Perfect or Immaculate Magistrate is just as nice as well. Since one Imerious Perfect pumps up and elf and making elves there be massive army ready to overflow you foe or have your just send one creature with trample and pump it with all your Immaculate Magistrate copies.

Wow, I'd love this card, just keep pumping out soul wardens, you'd exponentially gain life if you also had an Orochi Hatchery (with doubling cube to put more counters on it) first gain 10 first turn, 21, 32, 43, 54, 65, 76, etc. and if you had a doubling session on top of all that, you'd DOUBLE all that life and those tokens! With Novijen, Heart of Progress and a Simic Growth Chamber you could make all the 1/1 tokens, 2/2 and also make the soul wardens 2/2 so they aren't as easily kill.

Soul foundry+ornithopiter= infinite blockers with flying every turn! also that equals lots of sacrifices. BFM attacking? so what tap for 500 ornithopiters and your opponent cant do any thing! You can only have 4 of a card in your DECK but these aren't coming from your deck ARE they?

It doesnt matter about the cards you use it with, but how your playing your deck, lets say your using myr enforcers, you take a pump out a bunch of bottle gnomes so it costs less to play it and you takedown your opponent faster. I used it in my goblin deck, pumped out 12 goblins, played goblin warstrike and won. The point is how you use it in your deck, and how it makes small combos 10 times more effective.

You're all missing the key to this card. INFINITE COMBOS. Sure, putting a big, powerful, expensive creature on this card is great, but you'd be missing the point. Just imprint a free critter like ornithopter or phyrexian walker (even a Myr Moon vessel would work) onto the Foundry , put a Dross Scorpion in play, and have some permanent that has a "sacrifice a creature" ability like Goblin Bombardment or my favorite, Grinding Station, and there you go, infinite combo for the win. If all else fails, you can even use this card as a "chump" blocker generator.

You are all forgetting why you should use it. Avatar of woe and wellwishers are ok, but imagine "Meddling Mage" or "Ball Lightning", now see, THAT'S dammage!

Three Words: Avatar Of Woe. With this card you can basically produce inifite Avatar of Woes. Just pay the converted mana cost, then

Good in an artifact deck with "Blinkmoth Urn" and "Broodstar" that way if you have 8 artifacts out all you have to pay is 2 mana for it since it has affinity for artifacts.

You have to tap it to activate the ability. It isnt infinite anything unless you have something producing mana to pay for something else that would untap this. Only makes one token copy per turn by itself. Still great card for getting out cheap copies or an expensive big copy. Choose "Clone" for the imprint ability and it can be anything in play (without some form of shroud).
