Spikeshot Goblin

This is an awesome card, this card + Grantite grip is just mean.

This card with cranial plate means permanent board advantage! Include Great furnaces & darksteel citadels for the best effect. You can even skullclamp it once for added put off factor! Loxodon warhammer as well would be obscene!

im really surpised that no one has any comments about this card. well i play a lot of blue/red decks, which turn into pinger decks, and before the izzets claimed my heart i ran these babys. now i hate goblins but love red (kinda ironic) but this guy is fairly cheap and can dish it out. for example red/green, get a bonesplitter in play get him in play attach bonesplitter, play a giant growth bam 6 damage for a red and green mana. plus green has an enchantment (name slips my mind) that gives any creature that takes damage a +1/+1 counter, just use a lava dart, pyroclasm, or another pinger to slowly but surely build a killer all the while rinse and repeat the one to two cost buff spells. now i took notice to the massive mana myrs can bring early on and said "hey with blue i can untap my spike splitter" and so forth proceed to build a combo. turn1: bonesplitter, turn2: one of the eight iron or silver myr in my deck, turn3: spikeshot goblin, and attaching my splitter , turn4:fist of anvil (which is a +4/+0 for two = 7 damage min on ping) and at least one dreams grip or twiddle on turn four u have 5 mana to spend: 2 for fist, 1 for ping , 1 a dreams grip(or twiddle), and 1 last one for another ping thats 14 damage on turn 4 to 6 depending on draws, and much more over the next two turns. but sadly ive put my goblin to sleep and niv mizzet is my new love (try a curiosty or ophidian eye)

For casual play a fun combo could be with Mephidross Vampire.
