This card amazing at removal. If you plan to run more than 1 color you should include this card. I would say it is better than Pernicious Deed since it cost less mana, and doesn't cost BG so you can slip it into any deck. Though you do need to decide what you want to blow up prior to using it. Can remove Planeswalkers if you got the color to back it up though it could be really easy with Birds of Paradise or City of Brass.

this card is good because it kills all moxen for 2 colorless mana, and because for a mere colored mana more you kill all kird apes, mogg fanatics, goblin welders, skyshroud elite, pithing needles... etc. and can be fetched by trinket mage. only 4 stars because it does not kill gaddock teeg (well it CAN but you gotta plan ahead)
