Sporesower Thallid

it can come down on turn 3 off of an elves or birds, then drop another one on turn 4 and a sporoloth ancient on turn 5!! thats *insane.* unfortunately they're all 1/1's. play a glorious anthem and a gaea's anthem. wow!!!!!!!!! best ard in a fungus deck.

In fact it does count itself. It says "put a spore counter on each fungus you control", and Sporesower thallid is a fungus! Amazing card.

This is absolutely fantastic in a fungus deck for the obvious reason that it gives all fungus you control an extra spore counter (with the exception of the Sporesower itself.) The saproling tokens will be pumped out every 2 turns instead of 3, and combine it with the Saproloth Ancient, you'll be getting a saproling every single turn. Also, the card itself is quite cheap to get into play (4 mana for a 4/4 card with a good ability.) It's also uncommon, so it won't be all that pricey, so it's all and all fantastic.
