Works really well with things like Kami of False Hope for constant Fog effects. Put on a Shadow or unblockable creature and you pretty much have a lock-down.

I have made a great deck with this card and four copies of mourning thrull and necrotic sliver. Attach it to thrull, damage opponent by four life, gain seven life, bring sliver back that just destroyed a permanent and next turn with enough mana destroy again, and my deck has been nicknamed the meany deck. Boom boom boom!! Great card.

Great against a black white deck (like orzhov). Your best creature has protection from your opponents spells and creatures.
