Vendilion Clique in one word: Versatility.
If you're planning on countering something and they dont' play anything significant you plop this down at the end of turn. If you don't have a counter you can play it after their draw step and pluck something before they get a chance to cast it. It can also come in as a surprise blocker during the attack phase. All for 3 lousy mana, the "legend" status isn't even a drawback.

Very good card in Extended Format. Best part is that his ability has the word "may", so you can simply look at your opponents hand see tons of dead cards and then decide not to give them a chance to draw a real threat. definitely a solid creature for any style of control, 5 stars in my opinion

play tunnel vision affter this and name the card you just put at the bottom of their deck with this card.... if they happen to have only one copy of that card their whole library just dissappeared! now thats a mill deck!

Amazing card in draft, slightly less amazing in constructed, but still great. I mean, it's basically a thoughtseize on a 3/1 beatstick.....with flash. Wish I didn't trade all of mine away.

Sweet card for 3 mana its a 3/1 with flash,flying and gets rid of cards in the players hand. Perfect with glen elendra pranksters when you can keep controlling whats in his hand
