this card is amazingly useful. especially if you play it alongside blue spells. you will find innumerable possiblilities if you do. It DOES negate the fatal damage.

Better yet, put it on your opponent's Force of Nature. =) I've thoroughly enjoyed this card ever since it came out. It was always a very fulfilling experience to see my opponent drop a Juzam on turn 1... only if I had a plains and a spirit link in my hand! :D

One of my personal favorite. Put it on a Force of Nature and you do not have to pay the mana at the upkeep. Put a second on the Force of Nature, you gain 8 life every turn... Pretty sweet.

Very useful card. Can be used on your creatures for life gain or on an opponent's creature to negate any damage it deals to you.

The person at the bottom is wrong
when your life is reduced to 0 you die at the end of the turn therefore your life would return back and you wont die
when your life is reduced to 0 you die at the end of the turn therefore your life would return back and you wont die

If the creature deals fatal damage to you you die before you gain the life, so putting it on opponents creatures will only keep them at bay until your opponent makes a kill shot. Same thing goes for lord of the pit and force of nature. Otherwise a great card, I like it on "Orcish Artillery".

This card is soooo broken, you have to love it. I mean a cost of one white, to completely make any creature useless to attack.

Useful for your own creatures, but it has such a better use by making your opponents huge 13/13 flier absolutely useless. :)

Don't you think that this card is too strong? I think that it should "drain" life - I mean, it's "spirit LINK". I think that it shuold give player life only when deals damage to other player.. . Thanks :D // sorry 'bout my english --'
