Keyword in the text, EACH opponent. If any of you are like me and do a lot of casual play. This is one of the most effective cheap hitters burn wise when facing many opponents.
When I do casual games we'll run group games of five or more people, so good luck lightning bolting all of them. With 4 of these you just did 12 damage to as many opponents as you want for only three mana! It's just great for group games period.

nice card. i play multiples of these in my burn deck

This card stinks! It is only 3 damage for 3 mana. Thats not good. And to top it off it can only hit your oppenents. A good burn deck would run 4 lightning bolts, 4 chain lightnings, 4 shocks, 4 incinerates, and prob. 2 browbeeds(sp?) also prob. some fireblast, but deff. no sizzle. Not counting creatures which would be 4 fanatics and 4 ball lightnings.
