Well, this being better than Duress against Caw is questionable. This and IoK are being played more than Duress in the top decks. Mainly because IoK hits what people wanted to hit with Duress. And Despise hits their Jace/Gideon. Depending on what you are playing against. I personaly believe Despise is better than Duress, but im only one person.

Just pair this with a surgical extraction and potentially say bye bye to all your opponents jaces on turn one....seems pretty good to me

I personsally think this beats inquisition of kozilek, and now duress will be out of the question for all decks. WOW.

Sorry to burst everyone's bubble about this card, but Duress will still be better against Cawblade and sevral other top control decks. It will more likely be best to sideboard against RDW with Koth, or aggro decks with Garruk.

This card is good but duress is still a lot better. Black can take care of creatures after they hit the board, but instants/sorceries are a much larger threat to black.
