I love the artwork of this card. Unfortunately it's a watered down Sengir Vampire with a twist. Like someone else said, unless you're using a trick to make every creature black, his ability isn't all that handy. I like this card, but for 3BB you might as well go for the tried and true Sengir Vampire.

I bought an Odyssey theme deck a few years ago and it included a Repentant Vampire. This card is fairly mana-economical because it is flying, 3/3, and it has several sweet abilities.

sweet card especally if u play it with that one card from 7th ed. that turns all creatures black( its something moon or somthing like that i 4get) and until then just feed on lil guys. and it helps to have a white guy, that doesnt cost u any white mana, when ur faceing a white deck that can screw with black creatures.

Pretty cool, and well-costed. I like him even when I don't have threshold. In the right deck, it's pretty easy to keep him the right color, or to bounce him back to black to avoid Terror or pro-White.
And is it just me, or is this card actually Angel?

I belive is a good card for a begging deck and the only thing i find bad about it is threshold a terror would kill him quick enough

A great card, but only if your opponent starts with some weak creatures, so you can pump it up, otherwise a useful creature if you ask me.
