Werebear

the flavor text on this beast is so terrible that I have no choice but to love it. technically speaking it's mandatory in a threshold deck, otherwise....meh.

if your turn 1 lanowar elves gets shocked, and u play this turn 2...turn three giant growth and sakura tribe elder, sac the elder to ramp you up a land and you've got a 4/4 or maybe a 7/7...i'm not sure...on turn 3 and it's attacking!! oh no!!! lol...it's a great tempo card, though...=D

This would be a decent card even without the mana accel, a 1/1 on turn 2 kinda sucks, but the fact that it can be used to prevent a disaster, and if it isn't it becomes usefull once you get threshold, basically that is a 3-4 star card, and a card of that calibre that provides mana accel as well... that's pretty frikin good

This card is great. If played early, you can add mana with it. If played later on, it might become a 4/4 w/threshold. This card is Awesome.

Great card. It may not be awesome at first sight, but the Werebear's ability to act both as a mana ramper and a midt game threat is a really great asset. Personally though, I don't like this card. I think it's too weak for 2 mana ... had it been 2/2 and got +2/+2 when you have threshold, I would probably play it. But as it is, you normally need to play a threat on your second turn. I favor Wild Mongrel over this forever, but the Werebear still works :)

This card is great if cast early on to help speed up spells then gets bigger.

1 colorless extra for a llanwar elf that can become a 4/4 with threshold! I dig this card!
