this let's you thin your deck, mana fix yourself, and let's you search ford badlands or blood crypts. i run one of each of these 'fetch' lands in my 5 color deck and NEVER have to worry about what color of mana i need to cast something.

This is one of the best lands ever. Use it with the Ravnica shock lands and bingo, two colors of your choice right off the bat. Thins the deck and creates better draws, awesome card!!!!!

This will see play in any competitive multicolor decks with B or R in it, unless they already have enough mana-fixing with Polluted Deltas or Wooded Foothills. Shoot, Even graveyard strategies will play it. No harm stocking up on these, unless Wizards makes Antoine Ruel's Invitational card as worded(which would hose all deck-shuffling).

those who say that this card is not so awesome... do you ever heard of this word: "duallands" yeah..look for it in the dictionary... i have polluted deltas and bloodstained mires in my T1 blue-black deck and guess what i put into play with'em.. bingo...Underground Sea...

Why is this card good? Like all the Fetch lands it says a BLANK or a BLANK, and what are the duel lands from the Ravnica block? HRM!!!! Also the O.G. Duel lands too, you can search for them and put them into play, then do you wanna pay and extra life, how about if you did it at the end of someones turn, so then you don't care if it is tapped? OH wow...but seriously, fetchlands=awesome...that is all.

Note the wording on the card which allows you to retrieve anything of land type. It does not require basic lands be fetched, meaning that you can fetch revised dual lands with it. Since you're limited to 4 of each "real" dual land per deck, it's definitely worth one life to dig one out of your library. These cards are great because they guarantee development and thin out the library.

Besides, if one life is too much to part with then you've got skill and/or deck issues. :)

Man, this card isn't that simple......
Look, at the beginning of the game, you don't wanna get mana screwed...so, you'll need a sufficent number of lands in play.

Meanwhile, in the middle of the game, you don't need too many lands, all u need are cards that can finish up your opponent.

So, u need to use this card to dig some lands from your library to prevent yourself from being mana screwed and also to remove some lands from your library, so that you won't draw too many lands in the middle of the game.

See the point?
Besides, 1 life isn't too much to pay.

I'm giving this card a 5.
A must for all black-red decks.

Wow, how could you NOT play this card in a red black deck. It's a tutor for a Badlands. Simply awesome it runs over oldschool fetchland Rocky Tar Pit.

this guy is the biggest idiot I have ever heard. It is EITHER a swamp OR mountain, not to mention the fact that it thins land from your deck, i.e. play meny of these search lands, and in the late game less land will be drawn.

this card is awsome!!!!! you get the type of land you need at just one little life plus it aides threshold and thins that pesky mana out of your deck, but $10 come on man thats hefty.

For calling yourself Mr. Magic You sure don't know much. You don't waste a turn because lands don't have summoning sickness. It helps thin out your deck so you can draw something other than a land when you're backs against the wall. It lets you get either color land and it only hurts once, and lastly I guess you think that all
those championship Goblin Sligh decks are wrong because they all have 4!

The fetch lands are great, sure, but if you are a casual player, you have no need for them. They are way too expensive for what they do.

this card is much better than the person above gave credit. it does just the oppisite of waisting space, it utilizes it. not only does it offer manna acceleration, but it also thins out your deck. excellent card.

Person above me obviously has no idea whatsoever on any way to make a tourny deck, the fetch lands are simnply incredible. Why not put a swamp/mountain in it's place? Because you can use the Mire to get either, depending on how the game is going. Regular lands are more situational. I bet Mr. Magic uses the Invasion Duals, too.

this card is ok at best. i can understand that its better than a mountain or swamp, but most other duals beat it by far, such as urborg volcano, sure it wont work the first turn, but after ONE turn you have either option, without lose of life.

You want a quick way to thin your deck? Try removing all 4 of these from it, then. That way you have 4 less cards in your deck to begin with. These cards are okay but highly overrated.

Why would anyone want this card! Its terrible. Why not just put a swamp/mountain card in its place. I mean instead of drawing this paying a life and wasting a turn you could have played land u get a regular swamp/mountain. i mean common, this card is a waist of space.
