I use this and Eldrazi Conscriptions in my U/G Aura deck. Academy Researchers turn 3 w/ either on or I can drop Slippery Boggle turn 1, Arcunum Wings turn 2, turn 3:Aura Swap right before combat w/ Eldrazi; or during combat if it's the Mythic in hand. Most of the best removal is "Target" so that's why I run opponent shroud like crazy and Greater Auramancy to protect my fatty auras. Iridescent Drakes and 1x Hakim, Loreweaver is how I recur auras if they should die... All backed up with Counterspell and maybe later Force of Will if I can trim a little more green out of the deck.

in a GW Enchantress deck a mongrel puts it into the graveyard and a mythmaker pulls it out. Or an Auratouched mage comes into play an 11 trample for 6 mana. It has it's place.

A 7 mana creature with 8/8 AND Trample! Not bad, but without regeneration abilities it's just a more expensive rancor.

lets see...blanchwood armor 3 c/c...rancor 1 c/c...much better than mythic...although every time i put one on my killer bees, i don't need to pump 'em!
