Rotlung Reanimator

Shepherd of Rot, Rotlung Reanimator, Withered Wretch and maybe some Boneknitters = all the best Zombie Clerics. Coupled with Lord of the Undead, Unholy Grotto and Gempalm Polluter; you have one mean deck. Probably want to throw in Duress/Thoughtseize and Sarcomancy for solid 1CMC aside of Dark Rituals.

I can see this baddie being very pupolar after Od Block cycles out of standard. Him and his little friends Nova Cleric and Disenchant serve up a nice problem for the other potentially popular post-cycle deck Astral Rift. I've got my cleric deck already in the works.

I simply run zombie clerics with carrion feeder then after sacrificing a few i can cycle a gempalm polluter and pretty much win by turn 5

combos much better than i thought in my monoblack 1.5 deck. mainly because i don't focus my deck on zombies or clerics, by that i mean i only play four copies each of the aforementioned and 'withered wretch.' goes very well with 'nevinyrral's disk' and the main theme of my deck which is discard. so you can imagine the card advantage on my side. if i happen to run across one of the two 'volrath's stronghold' in my deck, it can be potentially ruinous for my opponent. that being said, probably not the weakest creature in my deck but does all the "unseen" things that don't show up in the statistics. in conclusion, a strong card that can make your opponent very leery and a card that can even surprise and suddenly become a tour de force............

He can be a very mean and nasty little zombie.
