I believe you are right about lands counting for the card played, because if you only had two lands in your hand you could never draw again. Say you play a spell then you draw a land ????? then youre stuck. The wording says card and a land is a card. ( crusible of worlds states "you may play lands from your graveyard as though they were in your hand" ) keyword play. this card is good . also try colfenor's plans.

broken, absolutely broken...either that or i havent been using it correctly..most likely the latter. Notices how it says "whenever you play card, draw a card." you can just play a card, not a spell, so lands count too (right?)! So when you add fastbond to the mix things get so much better! I used the Cabal Coffers and Magus of the coffers to add eight mana which is enough to pay for my Kokusho, then i draw a card, play it and the cycle continues again and again, then i play Tendrils of Agony right after playing all those spells and suddenly my opponent is losing 22 life and suddenly im at 48 life!

That's just sick, I didn't realize it also meant playing lands too!!? Just looked up the rulings and was happily surprised. Now just run either Spell Book or Reliquary Tower in the deck and play it after this is in play so the time-stamp order overrules the maximum handsize of 2. Just siiiick!

Whoops, I forgot that you "play lands" too - which means that my previous comment is wrong... This card is definately great, but a simple Mind Rot can really ruin your day... Play this with Phyrexian Arena to make sure you'll be able to get back in the game, should you discard anything.

Great card, but you're practically stuck once you've hit two lands... Use Mana Severance with this to ensure that never happens!
