This rocks in Pauper format. 4/4 body with a built-in Nature's Lore for {4G} is awesome, works good as a mana ramp into something even bigger and a beatstick itself.

This is a good card, especially in a Type 1.5 or Extended multicolor deck. You get a creature with considerable strength, and also get a land, which can be a forest or any of the dual lands that includes a forest. It helps save space in your deck.
