Black Lotus (Unlimited) - Near Mint

Lets see. I started playing magic in 1995. I was 12, and Ice Age was coming out. I thought cards like scaled worm and clockworm avian were the best ever. When I discovered THE LOTUS I thought "okay I get 3 mana.... then what." I had no idea what this card is could mean. Now I Do. The card is beautiful in its power and art. Now that I have the money to own one... I will.

The best card in MTG. P9 for a reason.

Real game I had:
I go first
Play black lotus, Tolorian Academy Tap then sac to play masticore
Opponent "Okay I give up".

Black Lotus IS the best card in the game. It is and always will be the Holy Grail of ALL magic cards.

Any one that says this card isn't the best in the world, can come to my house and have their butts kicked by my deck with one in it! The price is nothing, even though its restricted/banned in most tournament situations.

It'll beat any deck! Sure the others will be good, but without Black Lotus, they'll get run over 5th turn. Unfortunately it's restricted in T1 and banned in T1.x, Extended, and T2. Oh well! Who pays attention to DCI anyway???

This is the grand daddy of them all. The ability to cast first turn baddies makes it the best card of all time.

If you are an extremly seriose player i would buy one of these. It isa very good card but many deck using it can play without it and still be good.
