| Description | The Alpha set was designed by Richard Garfield and released in August of 1993. This set consists of 295 cards, 74 common, 95 uncommon and 116 rares with 10 lands. Alpha cards have black borders. There is no set symbol for this set. The easiest way to discern an Alpha card is the more rounded corner. The estimated print run was 2,600,000 cards. Cards of note in this set are many, including the Power Nine cards at the top of the heap. Ancestral Recall, Black Lotus, Mox Emerald, Mox Jet, Mox Pearl, Mox Ruby, Mox Sapphire, Timetwister & Time Walk make up the Power Nine. Additionally Dual Lands, Birds of Paradise, Serra Angel, Sol Ring & many other notable cards are found throughout the set. |

Your a troll. See, nowhere does it say sacrifice. What it basically should say is (when you play this card add a plain to your side of your field. This doesnt count for your land for the turn).
And im sorry, but a T1 sundering Titan (5 moxes, BL) made me love this card when I was still new to the game.
yes, the only flaw is it taps for W. But seriously, thats bad how? Last time I checked, workshop doesnt really care what color a card is (or at least mine)

2 Stars??? are you friggen kidding me? you must be terrible at magic. I have 7 decks with splashes of white. I play my Mox in everyone. So that blows your theory of "only good in one deck" right out of the water. And before you ask.... yes, all 7 of these decks have taken me deep in tournament play. Take some advice my magic friend, broadan your horizons a little, buy one from Troll and Toad and play type 1 once in a while.
