Wow, this card is really good if you are playing with a land destruction deck.
Compare this to Rain of Tears (1BB, destroy target land). For only one more land, you can make your opponent lose 2 life. Also compare it to Lay Waste (3R, destroy target land). For the same amount of mana, you can make your opponent lose life as well. Black does not have as many land destruction cards as red, but this card stands out among them for its additional effect. Definitely worth the additional mana!
