Dimir Machinations

Like all the other transmute cards, they make excellent tutors. If your running mono-black they are must haves. I dont play a "black out" deck but it is all black and i dont have to pay the outrageous prices for the true "tutors". For the crafty and witty players out there the possibilities are endless. Enjoy and please to any new young wizards, be original. No more net-decking, we are all tired of playing against the same six decks. Use your imagination and you will be surprised how well you do.

All this time and still no review, i'm shocked. It gives you 3 options which can really change the game in your favor. You can look into the fate of your opponent and decide how their next 3 turns are going to work, you could of course do the same for yourself or you could tutor it out. Transmute is still one of my favorite mechanics.

All in all; it can mill, it can tutor and it can change the way a game plays out, 4 out of 5. Would be a 5 if it was an instant or cost 1 less.
