If familiar is the worst card you ever pulled as a rare, you will have a grand magic career. This card is, by the way, is probably one of my favorite cards. Not that it is too good, since it is unreliable, in both sitatuon if works.

I have collected hundreds of these. A stack of these makes great tokens and counters but not an effective paperweight as it tends to topple.

Not such a bad card, but who likes coin-flip ability so much that they keep printing it?

poor. A 5/2 with haste can be killed by a 1 mana creature (savannah lions) it cost 4. If it had trample then it could be useful. But you need to evade the coin flip somehow (the card name escapes me)
