Definately a great finisher for any low-cost deck. I use him in a U/W Level-up deck too, and even on the board he's not always the card that my opponent wishes to remove.
Makes it to level 12 more often than I first thought he would...

Vererated Teacher, and time for heroes. Unsummon VT and cast a few times, you have a game winner. I use this in a blue/white lvlr deck with plenty of control cards.

I think most people don't fully understand how to bring out the full potential of lvlr cards. Yes it's 12 mana to max him which is a lot but here's the thing, you can completely ignore him and your opponent is still sweating. Level him up when you have nothing else better to do with your mana, and it's not like white doesn't have the best 1 mana removal in standard right now. Turn 3 you have a 3/3, turn 6 a 6/6 LL, turn 7 an indestructible 9/9 LL. With a lvl cost of only 1 you can put him in any zoo deck that's running cheap creatures anyway. 5 out of 5.

Just bought 2 of them and it works amazing with sword shield helm of kaldra, lvl him up once and u got a 11/11 deathtouch lifelink, trample, haste, 1st strike, indestructible. Add kitesail and sword of light and shadow or fire and ice and u have one amazing card.

Great card for limited and the current standard. White has almost nothing in the 3 drop slot and this guy is a must answer. Most of the time he won't make it to 6/6 lifelink, but he demands to be removed. Opponents cannot let him sit on the table because if you didn't draw anything great and decide to pump him to 6/6, he's going to be a force on the board. In long games with control players or if you're a control deck, he's a finisher obviously. He can beat every other finisher in the game except for maybe Iona.

A few of the new "lvlUP" creatures are really great. Kargan Dragonlord is obviously very good, Coralhelm Commander is great in a merfolk and so on. This however Im not sure about. 3/3 for 3 is OK, and its final for is gamewinning but to get there its 12 mana.. Even spent over two, three or four turns 12 mana is just too much for comfort and the clooser it gets the more likely it gets removed by an opponent, making the 6+ mana you spent on it a waste. Since its colourless mana I guess you could accel it well in a splashed deck or with the right artifacts but white on its own is dreadful at mana accel. It just doesnt amount to a 5 star rating IMO. Though the 3W mana slot isnt crowded with good creatures... its an iffy card.
