yes, you can use it to copy legends, since it says that it is still called sakashima the imposter.

Legend rule only applies if they share the same name. If so they would both be destroyed as a state-based-action(meaning you can't respond to it because it doesn't use the stack). In short, this guy rocks! Darksteel Colossus? Well... I have Darksteel Sakashima! And he's better than Clone because; if there's nothing on the field he's still a 1/1 where Clone is 0/0... and you can bounce him back for something better if need be.

awesome card for duplicating legends

To the above reviewers: Duplicating a legendary creature with Sakashima will not cause the Legendary Rule to take effect, because Sakashima's name remains the same: Sakashima copies the power, toughness, card types, flavor text (if relevant) and rules text of the target, but since it's name is still Sakashima, the Legendary Rule will not take effect, since it only counts legendary permanents WITH THE SAME NAME.

That being said, Sakashima is a great way to get doubles of legendary creatures out without worry, and if nothing else, he's a reusable super-clone. Even when you cast him and no other creatures are on the battlefield, he's still a 3/1 creature, as opposed to Clone, which dies from being a 0/0...

wouldn't sakashima kill the legend it duplicates with the legend rule, but live himself cause he technically is not the legend copied? Cause there would be two of the copied legend, but "SAKASHIMA IS STILL SAKASHIMA."

if what i say is correct then i would rate it 5 stars.

please add any imput on this.
