Works amazingly well with decks that focus on getting a lot of mana. Elf decks, traditional green ramp and defender decks with Overgrown Battlement can all abuse this card with their potential to create huge loads of mana with relative ease, and putting the top half of your deck onto the battlefield usually ends games unless your opponent has a board wipe in his/her hand.
Also shines in EDH/Commander, where players likewise tend to have huge amounts of mana available to cast their spells.
