This is basically an updated version of an old ice age vampire, and all due respect to Krovikan Vampire (which I played like crazy when Ice Age was big) but Soul Collector is better in every way. The gimmick of this card is to morph it on an unsuspecting attacking critter and take control of it. Unfortunately this little trick only works about once or twice, before your friend will start to figure out what you're doing. Works better in decks with lots of other morph creatures, so you can kinda mix it up and keep your opponent guessing... but once your opponent figures out you're using this card, he's not gonna attack with anything you can steal. So in this regard, it's kind of a big downfall.
I used to run a vampire deck back before all these new blocks came out with vampire tribal mechanics, and I ran Soul Collector every time. It's a fun little card to have, but don't expect the SUPRISE! factor to work more than once on someone.
