Demigod of Revenge

The Force of Will example doesn't work. Demigod triggers upon being played, not resolving, so you're still left facing down 15 power worth of creatures on turn 2; Not a position I'm keen to be in. Demigod is awesome.

Rammstein, can you give me an example of a turn 2 kill combo that can't be stopped by a well-timed FOW or Daze?
Nah. The basic idea of your statement is that combos are bad because they can be countered. I think you still have more to learn about this game.

I figured out a way to shave a turn off of my previous scenario. I have yet to get this lucky, but I have a deck it is possible with... T1: Swamp, Dark Rit, Buried Alive to put three Demigods in Graveyard. T2: Swamp, Ornithopter, Culling the Weak, Play fourth Demigod from your hand, which brings the other three into play, fly in for 20 on turn 2.. I think that's more than fast enough.

This is one of the very few cards I give 5 stars. Here is the best sequence I have come up with...Turn 1: Swamp, Dark Ritual, Leaden Myr. Turn 2: Swamp, Buried Alive to put 3
Demigods in your graveyard. Turn 3: Swamp, Dark Ritual, play fourth Demigod from your hand, which brings the other 3 into play. Flying in for 20 on turn 3. Not bad!

actually there is a difference between playing a creature and putting a creature into play, so you'd only get one.
like if you had a hideaway land you'd be playing the spell even though it's not from your hand since it says "play" on it. he'd have to say something like "when demigod comes into play target opponent cries" or something for him to work in recursion.

Most cards read when you comes into from your hand such and such ability is in effect, I think a animate dead would return all the others in your graveyard, maybe not with a animate dead but with a exhume or zombify for instance I would say yes.

Combine it with Fists of the Demigod (duh) and kick butt :D

Erata is "cast." Meaning you must pay the casting cost of the creature in order to trigger the graveyard recursion.
Still a good card though.

If this creature had: "When this creature comes into play, return all cards named Demigod of Revenge from your graveyard to play" then I would give this creature 5 stars.

Your turn two win has a serious flaw. If your opponent has a Force of Will or Daze in hand, then they will counter your 4th Demigod of Revenge. If your deck is based off of this card, then your deck does nothing.

prevouisly said, that animate dead would get all of them into play, this is untrue, the spell you are playing is animate dead, which in turn brings the demigod of revenge into play from the grave yard as a spell effect. demigod of revenge specifically states 'when you play demigod of revenge', thusly, this card must be played from hand to benefit from the effect. still gets a 4 out of 5 stars, as it does incredibly well in a type 2 standard dredge deck.

If you can ramp up to him he is pretty fun. Even if the first one gets countered, a second demigod will get at least 1 demigod into play. Fun card, competitive? We will have to wait and see.
