Highly underrated card... Granted, I tend to veer away from CMC 4 or greater in casual and tournament decks that I build, unless it is really worth it; and it's worth it. It's a great combination of {R}Weenie and {B}Recursion aspects, and will generally give you a win on Turn 5. I use in my EDH along with Cauldron Dance~~

I can't believe no one have mentioned the fantastic interaction between this and Murderous Redcap and Demigod of Revenge. A sole Redcap combined with Torrent of Souls will deal up to 8 damage in no time, and a reviving a Demigod of Revenge will result in reviving all of your Demigods and giving them all +2/+0. It's like having 8 Demigod of Revenges in your deck!

Nice card if you can manage the red and black mana. Bit costly for just one of the effects. The artwork on the card is amazing.
