This card is everything green/white decks have been waiting for in a really long time...
The only problem is the price - it's a bit too much for me right now, but what the heck, I'm sure I'll end up buying some anyway! - anyone can see how good this is, but I must admit I had expected the price to fall a little since they are no longer in Type 2...
I'm not sure I agree that this is THE best of the Lieges (it really depends on the deck you're playing), but it is certainly one of them - it punishes people who try to make you discard early, and its body size compared to its converted manacost is good. Combine that with its pump ability (and the beautiful artwork?), and you have a card that your green/white deck simply cannot live without.

well, i forgot about blightning and esper charm, each of which are top-tier cards that pop up in a lot of top-tier decks. also, very good in a bant exalted deck. boosts up your exalted creature by at least +1/+1, and also pumps the rest of your team. definitely worth playing!!

Absolutely love this card in casual.
5/5 Watchwolf. 6/6 Loxodon Hierarch. 7/7 Doran. 4/4 Steward of Valeron. And it boosts the Goyf, sure it doesn't get the full +2/+2, but anytime a Goyf can get bigger is better.
All on a 4/4 body.

This beauty fits so well in mono green with kitchen finks and the two elf lords and llanowar elves and wren's run vanquisher, saffi,(gaddock teeg you need to splash white for him if you want wrath/damnation protection) and chameleon collosus and safehold elite and overrun. It certainly is the best!

best liege period. im not surprised it jumped so high in value so quickly, it brings green white to the top of agro. this is one liege you dont want to hold back. plow through to the face, and if you draw into another? plow through for three times the damage.

arg. in a weenie deck these are crazy. play spectral procession, then this, then mirrorweave. ooouch. if you get hit by one thats over half of your life. the only problem is that there isn't much discard in standard or extended besides thoughtseize, both of which don't let you choose and aren't random. it's a still a solid 4/4 for 4 that boosts your creatures a lot.
