my favorite thing about heartstone is that it affects ALL creature activated abilities (Both on and off the battlefield*). So creatures' with Cycling, Unearth, Evoke, etc; cost 1 less to activate as well as what's already in play. And chances are your opponent wouldn't benefit from it because most people use mana producers(Noble Hierarch)/excel(Rite of Flame, Seething Song) and non-creature activated abilities (E.g.: Sensei's Divining Top) 4 deck speed or to fish a combo

Great for Laquatus decks,sliver decks,and any other decks that win by using activated abilities

Great card for a SLIVER deck. In essence you can Cast infinite amounts of slivers from Sliver Queen and cast any creature in your hand for 0 with Timmy, Power Gamer. I highly recommend this card for any deck with colorless creature ablities.

It can only reduce 2 down to 1 3 down to 2 but not 1 down to 0. It says it cant reduce it below 1 colorless.
