Use offensively to destroy all non-shroud or indestructible creature, can also use Standardize to make it cheaper rather than 1CMC:1 more like UU:Infinite. But you can also keep it monocolor and run Shields of Velis Vel for the same effect as Standardize ^^

I combo it with Standardize on an Isochron Scepter. 2 mana plaguewinds is quite a nice bit of fun.
