Very good card.

This card really is in a class by itself. No other land (Save for maybe the Tabernacle at Pendrel Vale) has such a impact on the game. And yes, this card does work on Vigilance creatures (or any other creature that does not tap to attack). I would not normally give five stars to a land that produces absolutely no mana, but the masterpiece of Lord Ith demands only the highest rating.

I'm amazed this card isn't currently restricted. An absolutely terrific defensive card, it fits well into almost any deck. This card alone mandates that you must consider land destroy into any deck that primarily relies on creatures to do damage.

I play blue control with this and Ice floes in addition to helpers like propaganda. An excellent card.

Really useful card that secures your defense quickly. Nice to have and suitable to every single deck...

this card is very powerful ,annoying to the people you use it against. but a staple of alot of my old blue decks .

This card is a must for every deck!

A great card. Not only can u stop an opponent from killing you with a masive creature but u can stop one of your creature from being killed when you attach. Works GREAT with The Wretched.

play with this in an all-land 1.5("legacy") deck. being able to target just about any creature other than "non-targetable" is sweet. being a land that you can drop on the first turn that can't be countered makes it even sweeter. and that's not mentioning the fact that i can(at least in my deck) remove my "manlands" from combat if anything naughty is done by my opponent(s). so why four stars? well, it seems to be a purely defensive card. and i'm from the school where the best defense is a good offense, "stasis" decks and their ilk notwithstanding. so i save the five star rating for something like, say....'swords to plowshares.' but don't take offense, i love 'maze of ith' and it's an excellent, excellent card. and the look of frustration on your opponent(s) face when you play it first turn or in conjunction with cards like 'candelabra of tawnos' or 'exploration' and 'burgeoning' is absolutely priceless. in conclusion, a superlative and still truly unique card(sorry 'kor haven') from the beginnings of MTG. highly recommend.............

Shoot for Elvish Scout instead.

Really really annoying. Those were the days when this card was restricted and necropotence wasn't.
