To use with wrath/damnation, use flicker or make him indestructable somehow. Use mana acceleration with him for late game dominance. Try living death/phyrric renewal-discard him or buried alive him, living death, steal your opponents best creatures you killed.

sure it's expensive, but zombies generally can support big mana costs, this card is one of the most savage ever made for a zombie deck. It's up there with Undead Warchief, Conspiracy, Call to the Grave, Hell's Caretaker, and Corpse Harvester.

Actually, damnation would still kill him since mongoose only protects against targeted attacks and damnation doesn't target individual creatures.

quite a bit pricy but with something like exhume just discard it and bring it back then watch your oppponents faces
