He's icky to the point where I wouldn't play him, but annoying enough that he destroys my Dovescape/Worship/Stirling Grove birdbarrier deck.

I don't like him. He doesn't stop your opponent cold like the Angel, if your opponent is smart, he/she'll hold a removal card for such emergencies and in a creatureless deck, you might as well play Wrath of God. Unless it's the only creature in your deck and you use Guided Passage to make them give it to you, but that's just crazy.
