Splash for it in a storm deck along with ornithopter. This, ornithopter, and dragonstorm calls all of the dragons out of your deck...kokusho, the evening star, anyone?

great card, doomed necromancer, any creatures that go to your graveyard return to play, with a thousand year elixer you don't even have to wait a turn. this card is meant to be used and abused.

I'm sure you've guys seen this combo elsewhere, but with Deathrender, this card's Combo possibilities just got off the hook: Deathrender, Enduring Renewal, and Mogg Fanatic. Play Deathrender turn 4. Play/equip Mogg Fanatic to death render. Play enduring renewal Turn 6. What happens now? INFINITE DAMAGE. Sac Mogg fanatic to do dmg; put mogg fanatic into your hand because of Enduring Renewal; put mogg fanatic into play attached to deathrender because of deathrender's ability. Rinse and repeat until you're satisfied. Its an instant win, whether you're facing 1 player or 1000.

This card is an off the hook combo maker. start your deck with 4 enduring renewal. then 4 wild cantor and 4 ornithopter (for infinite storm). another dash of 4 grapeshot for the kill, and the rest of the deck builds itself.
4xenduring renewal
4xwild cantor
4xgrape shot
4xornithopter
4xbrowbeat (to get to the combo)
4xbandage (to get to the combo)
4xchromatic star (again the combo)
4xrite of flame (to power the combo)
4x simian spirit guide (for a turn 2 kill)
4xboros signet (mana)
4x rebuff the wicked (save from disenchants)
16 mana as you see fit

this card is not as easy a win condition as in the old days, no goblin bombardments for sacking the ornithopters or shield spheres, but that doesn't mean it isn't as effective. Ornithopter is still the mainstay for this combo, but the user will have to get a little creative, such as sacking the ornithopter to summon a suspended gargadon, or feeding him to a nantuko husk(have a card to give him evasion if the opponent isn't wide open). With the addition of the old storm mechanic to standard, we can take advantage of a little guildpact card called wild cantor, summon her, sack her for the mana, play her again repeat, then when you are satisfied with the number of spells played that turn, play grapeshot (which is not vulnerable to a counter spell since each grapeshot is a seperate spell). It is sure to see many more abusive combos that everyone hates in the future.

This is incredible! I know someone who has a deck that can make target opponent : draw 10,000,000 cards -or- heal himself 10,000,000 -or-
deal 10,000,000 damage on the fourth turn! To do this, you need an ornithopter, Enduring Renewal, and a Phyrexian ALtar. The most expensive is the altar (at 4 mana, so it takes four turns to pay this combo)Use the altar to sacrifice the orni'and just put in back in giving yourself infinite mana... then just play blaze, fireball, etc!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Even though it seems like you're commiting suicide with only having what you have in play it makes a difference with this, ornithopter, an fallen angel. Or instead of fallen angel you use renounce and get infinite life. This is a really good card to have in your deck.

Combine this card with ornithopter and ashnods alter and a blaze or a stream of life or a githu fire or alablaster potion and you got a bunch of combos.

Seriously, it's a mediocre enchantment that's only real use is frustrating creature removal.

It's only moderately good at making infinite combos with other mediocre cards.

Possibly THE BEST combo I can think of is Linessa, Zephyr Mage's Grandeur ability combined with this.
That alone is going to make this card's price go up.
