i love this card cause it either does two damage or causes your opponent to remove a card in his/her graveyard, so you see all you have to do is get it past the blockers for the win/win situation.

Carrion Rats is awesome to draw in your starting hand 'cuz it's 2/1 for 1 swamp. That means you could potentially play it on your first turn and be doing 2 damage a turn by turn 2. Combined with other 1 mana things like Mon's Goblin Raiders, it can kick some serious butt in a fast deck.

It's not Vampire Lacerator, but on the other hand, this doesn't kill you, and IMO this is more "fun" and less "win" than the Lacerator...
