Useless? If I read the text correctly, I only need to keep a dozen copies of this card in my pocket to give a creature +12/+12 ! The errata excludes cards IN THE GAME, but the original card text counts those cards you have "WITH YOU". You could, in principle, enchant a critter up to 100/100 if you have big pockets - choose something with trample!
