Carnival of Souls

I've beaten folks with this "horrible" card. Think outside the box for a change. One of the quirky cards that I love and collect, along with Library of Leng and Wee Dragonauts.

i love the kobold skullclamp idea. a card that you think just outright sucks with an ability like this should be an indication to think harder. and hell you can always donate it if you can't think of anything better. the deck i saw, and loved, used this with aluren, drain life, grapeshot, and tendrals of agony. it was amusing. think harder.

This card is really good.

Put this card in a Kobolds deck. Then use that 1 Black mana to skullclmap them. You'd also be running dark ritual too to keep the mana high and then you just play Tendrils of Agony for the win.

Can kill you, but less dangerous since manaburn was removed. I personally love this card. True {B} flavor--Get a great benefit at a steep cost. This creates win-cons in a couple of my EDH decks, especially Ghave, Guru of Spores Use with caution.

Might be interesting in legacy clamp/tendrils build.

Really only worthwhile outside of that for the hilarious flavor text.

This card is by far the worst card for black I have seen in a long time. The only way for it to be of any use to you is if you donate (a blue card) it to someone, then play massive goblins . I would've given it -94761 stars, but 1 was the minimum. The picture is grotesque too.

you'd rarley use the mana so it'd might as well say lose 2 life!

Buy only if you like to find faster ways of killing yourself in a game.

It is not very good though it appears so because you are delt damage when a player brings out a creature and also more damage because of the pointless mana burn it so patheticly provides you with.
